Lustmord is Brian Lustmord, i.e. Brian Williams. Lustmord made his debut in the beginning of the 80s with the LP 'Lustmord' on which hard and dark industrial sounds can be heard. This record was released on Sterile Records. Later on other releases appear on Side Effects, Graeme Revell's label. Ever since 'Paradise Disowned' from 1986 the sound of Lustmord has become less hard, but the apocalyptic element in his music still predominates. Lustmord co-operates with many musician friends like John Murphy, Andrew Lagowski, Adi Newton (Clock DVA, The Anti-Group), Chris & Cosey, Roberty Rich, Metal Beast, Paul Haslinger and Steve Roach. And under the pseudonymn Arecibo Lustmord proves his music can get even darker. A sample of the track 'Ixaxaar' is used as the opening tune for X-Rated.
