Hellevator: The Bottled Fools (Region 1) - Hellevator: Bottled Fools
Releasedatum: 22 februari 2005
A unique and intense vision of abstract, psychologically charged sci-fi horror, surprise hit of the 2004 Fantasia Festival. Set almost entirely in a transport elevator that shuttles citizens between futuristic towns stacked on top of one another, a hellish scenario unfolds. Amongst the postmodern masses that squeeze into the public transport: cell phone-addicted businessmen clones, militant law enforcers; and a 17 year old school girl (Luchino Fujisaki) with the psychic ability to receive visions from each person on board. Oppressive paranoia builds when a pair of convicted homicidal rapists join the ride and manages to escape their abusive police escorts. Terrific sets, detailed characterization and outbursts of excessive violence set the stage for certain doom and utter bloody chaos.
